I am not lying when I say that many of the lovers I’ve had (particularly when I was younger) were completely ignorant of the existence, location, and function of the clitoris. By now, there is information readily available on the internet about, not only the small visible epicenter of pleasure, but the vast internal structure the lies beneath the vulva and extends into the pelvic region.

It wasn’t until 1998 that the entirety of the clitoris was discovered when Australian Urologist, Helen O’Connell, was the first to reveal its massive internal size. What took so long? It is the only part of the human anatomy whose sole purpose is pleasure, and since it is exclusively female, it seemed insignificant to the men who run the world. <eyeroll>
